Mark Ethridge

Mark Ethridge is the Managing Principal of Ascent Housing. Mark currently serves on the boards of Housing Impact Fund and Housing Collaborative. He co-chaired the City of Charlotte’s Source of Income ad hoc advisory committee in 2021/2022 and has served on a variety of multi-sector initiatives addressing housing affordability and homelessness in the Charlotte region. Mark is a Charlotte native and graduated from Princeton University in 2010.
Adelaide Martin

Adelaide Martin oversees Impact and Operations for Ascent Housing, leading the coordination of supportive services, housing programs and operations. Ms. Martin has over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit and social impact space, most recently serving as COO at United Way of Greater Charlotte. Ms. Martin grew up in Charlotte, earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and her MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. She has been active in a number of organizations in the region, including Roof Above, Belk Foundation and the Crosland Foundation.
Hailey Innocent

Hailey oversees operations, supporting the company’s growing portfolio and fund management responsibilities as well as spearheading new initiatives at both the project and fund-level. She has a Bachelor’s in Design and Minor in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida and an MBA from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School with concentrations in Sustainable Enterprise and Real Estate. Hailey also holds a LEED GA certification from the US Green Building Council.
Aidan McConnell

Aidan McConnell supports asset management functions for the Ascent Housing platform, coordinating portfolio strategy and optimization, property-level finances and operations, and reporting requirements for naturally occurring affordable housing (NOAH) assets. Aidan grew up in Charlotte, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016, and is a recent graduate of UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School, where he served on Kenan-Flagler's student-led real estate private equity fund and contributed to affordable housing development initiatives in the Raleigh-Durham area. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute's Charlotte chapter.
Paris Hackett

Paris Hacket supports all marketing functions for the Ascent Companies. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with more than 2 years of Public Relations agency experience. Working as an Account Coordinator at Articulate, Paris, supported PR campaigns and innovative events to impact brand awareness and reputation. Relocating back to her hometown, Charlotte, from New York, Paris develops and executes strategic campaigns to promote affordable housing initiatives, engage community stakeholders, and drive awareness of the Ascent Housing mission.
